After several debates about whether Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie is signed to Akon’s Konvict Music label following an elaborate ceremony to announce his signing to Konvict Africa in Accra, Sarkodie recently cleared the air by saying that he isn’t signed to the label in an interview with Tim Westwood on BBC Radio 1 Xtra.
“I am not signed. Akon endorsed Sarkodie. You need to watch out for Sarkodie from Ghana. That's what Akon is saying. Everything is in the pipeline though and it’s looking good”, answered Sakodie when he was asked about signing onto Akon’s label.
